Do I have to continue with my visits to my doctor, even after I have attended the playshops?
Yes, it is very important that you continue your regular visits to your Doctor/Midwife. The playshops are a guide to helping you prepare your mind, body and spirit and get ready for a joyous birth. The doctor’s visit helps to reassure you that all is well and to detect abnormalities/problems in case they occur. |

How do I enroll for the playshops?
You may enroll via telephone (604-589-0022) or e-mail or online by filling out the registration form. The dates for the playshops can be found in the schedule section. Payment for the Playshop has to be made in advance so that your seat is reserved. |

The playshops are generally held at the local library but the venue may change according to the availability. |

There are no guarantees in life. It all depends on how you follow and implement the preparation taught to you in the playshops. |

Yes, Joyous Birth Playshops will prepare you in such a way that your previous birth experience really does not matter. |

Yes, these playshops will definitely help you to prepare yourself so that you can have your birth exactly as you want it to be. |

What will I learn at the playshops?
You will learn how to prepare your mind, body and spirit in an optimal way. Any questions regarding childbirth will be answered and you will feel fully prepared for your child birth. You will have the opportunity to meet and interact with other couples too. |

I have some personal questions about my childbirth and do not feel comfortable discussing them in front of others. Is there some other way for me?
Yes, you may opt for a personal consultation program($75 per hour, minimum 2 hours). This will be on a one on one basis and will be tailored according to your specific needs. This Program also includes a 30 day follow up where the client can call anytime and clarify their doubts and concerns. The regular Playshops will include a question and answer session at the end, where your concerns will be answered. |

How much does the Program cost?
Joyous Birth Playshops: $325 per couple (partners are encouraged to attend). The introductory rate of $199 (Canadian) will be available till the end of September 2009. |
